Subtle bigotry

Another group of customers visited our factory yesterday for some customer service meeting and production line tour. This time, the visitors came from India, accompanied by their Japanese counterparts.

Before the actual meeting started, one of the Japanese informed us that their companions had some kind of “primitive” issues that we had to consider. “They have brought their own lunch,” he said so we had to prepare some fork and hot water during lunch time. The head of our group insisted that we’ll prepare vegetarian food instead so our Indian customers don’t need to worry about their lunch. Case closed, temporarily and the meeting started.

Crap according to Encarta: crap (n, krap) an offensive term for nonsense, or something worthless or annoying; crap (adj, krap) an offensive term meaning worthless, useless or lacking in ability.
