“I love being a princess,” sings Tifa

I hope you remember playing make believes with cassava (kamoteng kahoy) leaves during your childhood days because if not, I pity you for being one of the rich kids who had an unhappy childhood (malungkot ang kabataan).

Tifa sings a Backyardigans song

Anyway, I just made Tifa a tiara made from a cassava leaf like the one on her head on the above photo and she was happy that she started singing a song from The Backyardigans. Watch the video below.

If you’re confused of her singing, here’s the original I Love Being a Princess track. And here’s where you could watch a preview of MY favorite Backyardigans episode, Samurai Pie. I just love the lyrics, hahaha.

How do you clean your electric fans?

My wife was cleaning our room this afternoon (Yes, my wife. Because the house helper could do nothing except sweeping the floors a hundred times everyday, washing the dishes, eating the biggest share of food, and either standing on a corner without moving [and I hope without breathing, too] or circling the entire house) and she asked me to wipe the dirt from the electric fan.

electric fan

I grew up (in my parents’ house) where the electric fans – excluding the motors of course – were washed with soap and water every week end while the rest of the neighborhood’s fans were merely being wiped of dirt using a broom or large paint brushes.

Tifa the Mo-mo

Just having some fun with Tifa after she took a bath. After applying baby powder on her super delicate skin, I applied some more on her face for the “mo-mo” effect.

Tifa, the mo-mo

Mo-mo, mu-mu, multo, mamaw, white lady, Japanese ghost incarnate. Hahaha!
