Home-based family summer getaway
Who needs beaches and resorts when you could have your summer getaways in the convenience of your own backyards?
I bought a portable swimming pool from a three-day sale at SM Ayala last Friday and set it up today in the garage. The pool is about 2.5 feet in height and 8 feet in diameter and it took almost three hours before we could fill it with water due to low water pressure in the area. The kids were already allowed to play in the water while the adults were still filling the pool but because of the strong winds, the kids had to stopped because they’re already shivering in cold.
To make everyone have a real feel of a summer outing, we brought fish, pork and hotdogs from the market for grilling. We also prepared green mango salad for the dip and papaya shake for refreshment.
- Home-based Summer Getaway
- Over-grilled, sun-burned tilapia
- Houseband and Wife
- Floating Dad
- Grilled pork chop
- Home-based Summer Kainan
- Mother and Daughter 2
- Mother and Daughter
- Summer Kids
The activity lasted for six hours with everyone cracking jokes like we should place a sign outside so that next time, the neighbors could also swim for a small fee.
