3/695 Camels: Paglamon

Not just pagkain, it’s paglamon!

ALBAIK Jeddah

On my second day here in Jeddah, a colleague and the quasi-company nurse took me to a villa-turned-hospital for my medical check-up and after a Filipina nurse took my blood sample and another national had my chest X-Ray, I was treated to an awesome fast-food lunch in a food court nearby.

ALBAIK

This is ALBAIK Fried Chicken Meal. For just 12 Saudi Riyals, I was able to enjoy four pieces chicken, potato fries, a burger bun and a cold Pepsi in can.

Today someone had a birthday and our group was treated to another ALBAIK fried chicken meal. Yum-yum!!! I wonder how I managed to gobble it all down in less than 30 minutes.

Now take a look at the photo below and tell me what popular Filipino food chain logo can you see.

We were able to swim almost every week and even tried the ever-elusive jacuzzi at Pina Colina here in Tagaytay.

The kids can now swim on deep waters without an adult companion and perhaps the staff of Pina Colina Resort have had enough of us that they almost don’t charge us the usual day tour fee ;-)
