I found this cat sleeping on a stack of steel panels and when I tried to wake her up (I assumed it’s a female cat, now according to wikipedia’s cat nomenclature and etymology page, a group of cats is referred to as a “clowder”, a male cat is called a “tom” or a “gib”, if neutered, and a female is called a “molly” or “queen” and I could have inserted more information here but the parentheses are in the brink of imploding), it gave me a faint meow and went back to sleep.

I tapped the cat lightly and told her she must wake up and hide lest the bosses will have her seized for sleeping during working hours and obstruction of work. She gave me a sullen glance and walked away. That’s when I noticed another cat sleeping under another stack of steel.
Now here’s a story.
Some years before I arrived here in the desert, hundreds of cats live and roam in and around the factory. One day, the General Manager stepped on a pile of cat stool. Enraged, the GM released an order to have the cats captured and warned to punish any employee who will be caught feeding or keeping cats as pets (or is it the other way around) inside the factory. He even promised 3 Saudi Riyals reward for every cat that will be caught. There was a massive cat hunt and every cat in the factory were all captured.
Or so they thought. Those two cats, and perhaps hundreds more in the hiding, prove them all wrong.
