Driftwood garden

My wife’s relatives cut all the coffee trees from their coffee plantation (they converted it into a pineapple farm), some of the driftwoods were placed in a makeshift stockroom nearby. Since they were just lying around in there, I took three pieces which I positioned in front of the house like this:

I am planning to make a mini-driftwood garden out of them.

I de-rooted small ferns and mosses growing on the stone walls and planted them in the small holes around the driftwoods. I hope they will propagate quickly and spread well around the driftwoods.

If it won’t rain tomorrow, I will fill the large holes with soil so I could plant other ornamental plants in them. I hope I could find small berry shrubs and a few orchids from the plant sellers along Tagaytay highway.

Wish me luck ;-)
