Jason Ivler caught during an NBI shootout
And finally… “Jason Aguilar Ivler, the suspect in the killing of a Palace official’s son last November, was arrested by elements of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Monday morning.
“NBI Director Nestor Mantaring said Ivler exchanged gunfire with NBI agents who entered the Ivler home at Blue Ridge A Subdivision in Quezon City early Monday.
“‘Ivler had a baby armalite and a bandolier. He just started shooting but he was also shot. Before he was shot, at least two operatives were hit,’ Mantaring said in a radio dzMM interview.”

While watching the news report from ABS-CBN, my wife commented on why Ivler’s mother, Marlene Aguilar (local folk musician Freddie Aguilar’s sister), had her photos posted on their gates and other parts of their house. Upon seeing the photos, I started browsing my brain cells for possible records of those photographs (I knew I saw those photographs from somewhere) and found this:

Elsewhere, a certain Jason Aguilar was deported from Qatar on suspicion that he was Jason Aguilar Ivler, prime suspect in the killing of Renato Ebarle Jr. last November 18. After being in jail for ten days, NBI officers were surprised to see that they got the wrong person. HAHAHA!!!
