At the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church, Tagaytay
We went out to attend the mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church here in Tagaytay this morning and since we arrived a little later for the 9:30AM mass, we have to wait outside for a while. While waiting outside and eating 3 pieces of lumpiang togue that I bought for 20 pesos in front of on of the church gates, I’ve read from one of those plates mounted on the church pillars (I don’t know what they call them) that the Parish Church is being ran by the Capuchin, Order of the Franciscan Minors and the current Parish Priest if Father Peter Eugenio, OFMCap.
Seeing the word Capuchin reminded me of Bluepanjeet and though I am not sure whether this Capuchin order is the same seminary where he used to pursue his vocation, thoughts of Bluepanjeet presiding the mass started playing on my mind.
When we got home after the mass, one of my mother-in-law’s sister-in-law (again, I don’t know how they were called) told us that on this coming Holy Week, there will be a pilgrimage in Lucena. I don’t know much of the details yet (aside from the fee will be just PHP 300) but my wife and I were already thinking whether we should join and eventually meet Bluepajeet after the pilgrimage.
But then again, how big is Lucena and how many parishes exist in that city?

Yes Yes that is administered by the Capuchins. There is an actual Capuchin presence there in Tagaytay. Kaya lang maybe some of the brothers dont know me anymore because its been ten years now since I left the formation.
The other Capuchin house there in Tagaytay is in Sungay, the “Ina ng Laging Saklolo Parish”.
Thank you for thinking of me during mass haha. I wish your thoughts could come true someday. BUt I have been reluctant ever since. Anyhow, my fate is always in God’s Mercy.
