Didn’t we almost not had it all…

Since I picked up my wife and daughter from the airport months ago, it was already Christmas for me. A day would not passed without me thinking of how we will make our first Christmas together grand. I’ve been waiting impatiently for the nearby stores to take out their Christmas stuff (and our Chinese housemates to leave) so we could start decorating the house with every Christmas ornaments we could buy.

Then Tifa felt sick and was hospitalized. That moment, I could feel the Grinch jumping for joy. When the doctors advised that we could take her back home, the first thing that came to us is to take her back to Philippines. So we booked the earliest plane back to Philippines. December 15, 2008 they had to go back home. And we all thought that once again, we could not celebrate Christmas Eve together. But thanks to God for sending his flock of angels, we have finally persuaded ourselves to stay at least after Christmas before they go back home. We have re-booked their flight to a later date and despite having just a little Christmas tree, we’re having our first Christmas together.

Thanks for all your prayers and support. We wouldn’t have made it this far without you.

Kumukutikutitap na Holiday Greetings to all

Posted on December 24, 2008 under INX's · 9 Comments

It’s the time of the year once again when bloggers will be congesting the internet with heart-felt holiday greetings so in the spirit of Christmas, let me and my family wish you all

A very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!!!

We’ve been blogging for some time now and though we have yet to meet all of you in person, the things we have shared in our own little spaces in the cyberspace will sure be all remembered well. For this coming year, I hope that the internet (particularly the Pinoy Blogosphere, for what its worth and meaning) will be free of hatred, pretensions, back stabbing, and whatever bad things the internet could possibly cause heartaches in each of us.

… I’ll be offline indefinitely so see you when I see you. Or to make it more appropriate, read you when I read you ;-)

Tifa sings her nursery rhymes

Posted on December 18, 2008 under Now Showing · 6 Comments

Just one of the sweetest moments a father would truly cherish forever. We all thought we could already have our “happily ever after” after they have been finally granted their residence visa but unfortunately, because of the things that had happened in the past weeks, my wife and daughter would have to go back home to Philippines again.

This video of Tifa singing her nursery rhymes (complete with actions, take note) was taken on Monday night, days after her release from the hospital. I wish I had better camera for my Sony Ericsson camphone could only capture videos in this low resolution.

~ Calling advertisers! Wink, wink! ;-) ~

Note: You have to check the actual post to see the actual video, it’s all in the theme ;-)
