My wife and I were carefully scrutinizing plant seeds at Ace Hardware in SM Dasma when we both suddenly burst into laughter upon seeing these:
Value Pack All Season Crops
The Pinakbet veggie seeds pack contains ampalaya, squash, pole sitao, okra and eggplant seedlings while the Chopsuey veggie seeds pack contains bell pepper, carrot, cauliflower, cabbage and sugar pea seedlings. Both were being sold at P130.00 per pack.
There really was nothing to laugh about. We just did. Anyway, we’re planning to plant vegetable, herbs and other flowering plants near my driftwood garden (I’ll be writing updates on that gardening project when I have time). Perhaps we could plow a small plot or create wooden troughs.
