Tim Burton’s adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland takes the original children’s classic story’s simplicity combined with extravagant exaggerations to form a magnificent movie both children and adults will love. Another successful Tim Burton and Johnny Depp collaboration.
Those who love satire and comedy will love Anne Hathaway’s portrayal of the White Queen. Just seeing her move, walk or talk sent me laughing like a mad hatter (not that the mad hatter was always laughing). Good thing my wife was with me in the movie so I didn’t had to conceal my laughter. The Red Queen and the rest of her “fake” cohorts is another hit. I just hoped Tim Burton had given the March Hare more exposure or more stuff to throw.
The scene where the White Queen dodged a cup thrown by the March Hare is a classic. HAHAHA!!!
