My 3 and a half old daughter was diagnosed of Dengue (Stage 1) weeks ago. All thanks to her new pediatrician Dr. Oscar Padua, the staff and nurses of Tagaytay Hospital and Medical Center, family and friends, and of course, Tawa Tawa Herbal Plant. Tifa is all fine now.
I heard that the Dengue cases in the Philippines has already risen to 54K (I hope I’m mistaken). I hope their families would not be too “modern” not to try herbal medicines such as the tawa tawa. Check the image above or try googling the word.
Just for laughs: If laughter can’t be the best medicine, try Tawa Tawa

If not for its name, I would think Basyang was the first typhoon to hit the country after the seemingly endless El Niño. The first typhoon was hardly felt so I don’t even know what A-name was given to it by that hopeless government office which was ironically called PAG-ASA.
I believe typhoon Basyang wasn’t even half as strong as last year’s super typhoon Ondoy but its effect is considerably devastating. What Ondoy failed to even leave a dent, Basyang has successfully put to ruins.
I’m reffering to that lone papaya tree in the backyard. I just picked two ripe papayas there the other day but now the tree was history.
It had been standing there forever but it only started to bear fruits and thanks to Basyang that I can’t even find the remaining fruits that were saving to make achara. HAHAHA!
Okay, the papaya tree was just a tiny casualty compared to the mighty narra trees whose thick branches were scattered everywhere. And I havent even mentioned the human casualties and the nationwidest electric interruption which, according to my Meralco insiders, will probably last for five days. That’s five freaking days without freaking internet access you son of a mother!!!

You think the brownout would stop Tifa from studying?
And what’s the water supply has to do with it? We don’t have water for chrissake.

This is the problem with blogging. You start writing and hope readers would come flocking at your blog and when they did, you’ll start to feel obliged to write some more to keep readers on your blog while hoping to attract more. You would even start creating a Facebook Fan Page for your blog and then one day, you’ll discover that it already have hundreds of Fans (a.k.a. a bunch or cheerful Facebook users who would click the Fan button at the slightest provocation) and you’ll feel the world would stop turning lest you continue blogging.
So help you God!
It’s been six weeks since our daughter, Tifa, started schooling. She’s in Nursery now. I don’t know if that’s the right way to say that – Nursery student? Anyway, her school is some kind of a high-standard advance school for kids and I hope you won’t be shocked to know that she has nine subjects – Language, Reading, Math, Science, Values Education, Computer, Spanish, MAPE and Workshop. Whatever that last subject is. Nine subjects, nine books. I didn’t attend pre-school, I to Grade 1 immediately, so I don’t know and can’t even imagine how are they going to teach all those subjects when they kids are merely spending three hours at school per day.
Anyway, a week before the school year started, we went to SM Dasma to shop for kids clothes and other Nursery stuff. Here are some of her photos I took while Tifa’s choosing her clothes.
I know you’ll say “How cute” or something. Of course they should be cute or something better than that. They’re expensive. HAHAHA!
Though I think all the expenses are worth it when you little Nursery girl keep bringing all the stars her classmates couldn’t even have one. HAHAHA!
